Balboa
Wednesdays 7:30pm
Want to dance to fast music without dying while trying? Fast, cool, and surging in popularity nationwide, the Balboa make dancing to fast music fun and fluid with mixes of close embrace partnering, flashy footwork, and slides. We will teach the Balboa, including classic Bal and Bal-Swing, in September and October.

Savoy Lindy Hop
Wednesdays 8:30pm
From September through December, we’ll teach Intermediate Savoy-Style Lindy Hop exploring classic steps handed down from Frankie Manning and Al Minns as well as other Savoy dancers. Each month features a different section of material. We offer four sections at each level, plus bonus steps. Students often repeat each level until they feel comfortable with the material.

We cut back our schedule of monthly classes to accommodate for the birth of our son.

We perform and teach popular and historical social dances of the Jazz Age and Swing Era and have appeared on stage, independent film, and local and national television. Known for our performance and our research of social dancing, we also consult and choreograph for period productions, particularly those set in the Roaring Twenties. Though we do not regularly compete, we have placed in a number of competitions, including 1st in the 2004 American Lindy Hop Championships Fast Dance division.
