Your first dance as husband and wife should cap a wonderful celebration, not cause discomfort and dread. Having taught many brides and grooms over the years, we understand that each couple’s skills and sensibilities are unique, and so we tailor our lessons to match your abilities and goals to ensure that you look your best that night. In some cases, couples respond well to having a choreographed wedding routine. In other cases, couples perform best when armed with dips, dramatic steps, and photo-ops, but no set arrangement of steps. Whatever your experience level, we can get you ready for the big night. We can prepare you to work with a live band, help you select a song and dance, and give you tips from entering, exiting, involving your family, or creating photo-ops in your dancing. Our goal is to make you look your very best.

We perform and teach popular and historical social dances of the Jazz Age and Swing Era and have appeared on stage, independent film, and local and national television. Known for our performance and our research of social dancing, we also consult and choreograph for period productions, particularly those set in the Roaring Twenties. Though we do not regularly compete, we have placed in a number of competitions, including 1st in the 2004 American Lindy Hop Championships Fast Dance division.
